Do I need the shampoo? |

Yes, the Lice Shampoo is required to wash the Lice Solution out, but it also acts as a repellent, by coating the hair with a fine layer of viscose so that the eggs and lice cannot cling to the hair. It then lowers the pH of the hair shaft, which makes the removal of the lice easier, and the oil in the Lice Shampoo is also a repellent.

We recommend to use the shampoo up to 7 days, as lice may appear while remaining eggs hatch and to repel external lice from infesting the hair. It is also important to keep using the Lice Shampoo whilst there is an outbreak.

Do I need to use a conditioner after the Lice Shampoo? |

No. Chinese Whispers Lice Shampoo has added conditioners that are beneficial for the hair so there is no need to use a separate conditioner. Using a conditioner afterward may lessen the effect of the repelling action of the Lice Shampoo.

Yes, if you are experiencing an infestation of head lice. The Chinese Whispers Lice Solution first coats the lice and eggs in a thin layer of natural oils and extracts that repel and discourage lice from breeding and feeding on the head. The Lice Shampoo is the repellent which will keep the lice away. You can now purchase both products as a Repel Pack which includes a free nit comb.

The 120ml bottle of Lice Solution has approximately 4 applications (average thickness and length hair) a little goes a long way. You may require more or less depending on thickness and length of hair.

Chinese Whispers contains no toxic chemicals or insecticieds. The Chinese Whispers formula coats the lice in a thin layer of natural oils and extracts which aids easy removal and discourages the lice form adhering to the hair. They do not become resistant to the formula.

Do you spray it on wet or dry hair? |

We advise to spray the Lice Solution onto dry hair, saturate scalp zone (first three inches of hair from the scalp), spritz remaining hair and finger comb while wet. Allow to dry naturally and leave over night. Nit comb and then wash out the following morning by using Chinese Whispers Lice Shampoo as directed.

Yes, the Lice Shampoo repels and will discourage reinfestation. We recommend to wash with the shampoo 2-3 times a week.

However we do recommend that if the person is taking any medication or using a medical shampoo, consult their doctor. The shampoo does, however not in a large enough quantity to penetrate the skin and cause any problems. The essential oils are as follows; Neam oil, Tea Tree oil, Rosemary oil, and Eucalyptus oil. All help to aid in the repellent process.
